Choosing a collaboration strategy
According to Jeff Stamps, co-founder and chief scientist of NetAge, “Virtual teams can work faster and particularly more innovatively.” Many companies are turning to online collaboration in hopes of creating a stronger innovation culture within their business. This is crucial for those who want to stand out from their competitors.
However, many argue that the virtual collaboration strategy is not sufficient enough. Collaborating requires that the team understand the organization, and each other. Many see the online collaboration strategy as a disadvantage because of the lack of meeting and seeing the person face to face. Sometimes it is harder to convey a meaning of a topic with typed words, and is easier in person.
What type of collaboration strategy do you prefer?
OneDesk was designed to facilitate the online collaboration strategy for enterprises. That being said, we want to know: What do you think is the best collaboration strategy for businesses? Does your team collaborate online? If not, what is preventing your organization from switching to online collaboration?
