OneDesk Pricing FAQs

General Overview

OneDesk's pricing is based on your products, plan level, and number of user licenses. 

All our plans require the purchase of only a single user license. 

OneDesk On-Premise is a self-installed, self-hosted solution, and can be installed on your own servers, AWS or MS Azure. Pricing for OneDesk On-Premise is the same as for our Enterprise plan, but is only available for annual or longer-term subscriptions. To evaluate OneDesk, please sign up for a 14-day free trial of our cloud software. If after evaluation of the software, you would like to purchase on-premise licenses, please Submit a Request we will send you an invoice for the number of users you require.

Use the tool above to select the features you want, the number of users you need, the currency you wish to pay in, and whether you want to pay annually or monthly. The tool will update to show you the total price.

Products & Plans

OneDesk offers three plan levels (Standard, Enterprise, HIPAA). 

OneDesk offers four products (Help Desk, Project Management, Professional Services Automation, and Work Management). 

Yes! OneDesk offers a HIPAA plan level, which can help you meet HIPAA compliance requirements. For an overview of the process of using OneDesk in a HIPAA compliant manner, please see: HIPAA Process.

HIPAA is its own plan level which includes similar features of the Enterprise plan. To request a quote for a HIPAA-Enabled account, please see: Quote Request for HIPAA

Yes, you can. If you need more users in the future, you can easily upgrade your plan from inside the OneDesk app. If you decide to “go annual” at a later date, you can do that too. When you make these changes we always pro-rate the plan so you won’t lose any money.

Yes you can purchase additional products after subscribing to OneDesk or during your trial. 

Licensing

At OneDesk we distinguish between ‘user’ and ‘customer’ accounts. You are only charged for the number of users you have. A ‘user’, is anyone in your organization who will be working directly within OneDesk ( i.e. responding to tickets, working on tasks, creating projects).

A ‘customer’ is anyone who does not need access to the main OneDesk app. Customers can include individuals inside (sometimes called end-users) or outside your company. Customers can interact via email, and can login or communicate within the customer apps (portal, chat, help center, webforms).

In OneDesk there: “users” who require a license, and “customers” who are the end-users or clients you need to communicate with, but who do not need access to the main app. Customers can log into the customer-apps (ticket portal, knowledgebase, etc.) and communicate by email and chat.

Customers are unlimited in all plans, so you can have as many as you need.

Payments & Pricing

You can pay by upgrading your free trial account from inside the app. From here, we accept payment by credit card (Visa, MasterCard or AMEX) as well as Purchase Order (PO). If you would like to pay by cheque, wire transfer, or other methods, we can accommodate you. Please contact us at hello@onedesk.com

In addition to user licenses, there are usage based charges for Voice and AI. 

Absolutely. Take 30% off the price of any monthly or annual plan if you are a charitable or educational organization. Please chat with us below or contact us at hello@onedesk.com before you “go pro” and we will apply the discount to your account in advance.

You can pay in several different currencies including USD, CAD, AUD, GBP and EUR. To see the price in your currency, just select it from the drop-down on our pricing page. The monthly price per user, and the total price will update accordingly.

Once you have paid, it is not possible to change the currency of the subscription. Please make sure you select the correct currency at the time you go pro.

Yes. Select ‘Monthly’ or ‘Annually’ above to compare the price per-user for each period as well as the total amount you will pay now. If you choose to pay the monthly price, you can cancel at any time. If you decide to pay annually in advance, we thank you by giving you approximately 2 months free per year. Therefore the price of each annual plan is 10x the monthly plan.

Support

We offer support through, email, live chat, phone, and screen sharing sessions. We also offer paid support for setup, configuration, or additional training sessions. 

We have designed OneDesk to be easy to use and to require no expensive services to get up and running. However, if you need a helping hand, training, on-boarding assistance, or just want to save time, we offer a menu of optional services that you can choose from.

Please note that these services are mostly things that you could perform yourself. Our services team will generally be using the same tools available to you to perform these services.

Trial

You can start a trial on our sign up free or pricing page. During the 14-day trial, you’ll have access to your chosen products, but you can also add products to the trial plan at any time. You will also have access to our support through chat, email, or demo sessions. 

No! You do not need to enter a credit card to start a OneDesk trial account. 

Once your trial ends, you are able to subscribe from inside of the OneDesk app. You can find the Subscription page in your Administration settings. Here you can purchase the number of user licenses, products, and plan level you require.

Yes, you can trial the AI features, include the AI agent and copilot, on an enterprise level trial. Your trial includes free messages to try out the Odie AI agent.
