In OneDesk, you can clone tasks and projects. This allows you to create templates that can be cloned to save time when creating recurring projects or tasks.

To clone a task, navigate to the Tasks application. Make sure the task or tasks you wish to clone are selected. Then click on the Action Menu next to the task or one of the tasks you wish to clone and hover over ‘More Options’. Click ‘Clone Item’. Select which project to place the cloned item or items into and check what properties you wish to copy over. Then, click ‘Clone’. The cloned task or tasks will be marked as clones in their item name.

To clone a project, or multiple projects, navigate to the Projects application. Click on the Action Menu and select ‘Clone Project’. Check what properties you wish to copy over to the new cloned projects. Then, click ‘Clone’. The cloned project or projects will also be marked as clones in the name. You can rename them after.
